01/24/11 Siti's Birthday

You and I went to Oklahoma City for Siti's birthday. We had so much fun! You ate entirely too much cake and candy. Siti likes to feed you. The minute we arrived in OKC, we went to pick out Siti's birthday cake and she bought you some cookies. You picked out a purple and green cake and you couldn't wait to eat it. At dinner, no one could believe how much you can eat. Uncle Rhoni kept saying, "He's a growing boy." Siti cooked roast and you ate a lot of it as well. You have a big appetite, which is great for a little boy. You are in love with sweets. I think you would eat candy and cookies for every meal if I would let you. You kept saying, "Are we eating the cake yet?" I repeated ten times "After everyone is finished." You and Bailey sang Happy Birthday to Siti and helped her blow the candles out. It was precious! You, my love, can find candy wherever it is. Daddy and I have to be very mindful of this.

We went to The Learning Tree and Siti bought you a play cash register. You love it! You rang everyone out. Siti would say, "I would like a cup of coffee. How much is it?" You kept saying 2 dollars and 46 cents for everything! I am not sure why, but it was precious.

We went to Uncle Rhoni's house before dinner. Uncle Rhoni bought Bailey a zip line and you jumped right on it and you smiled so big when you took off! You and Bailey had so much fun playing.

Everyone came over to Siti's for birthday dinner and you and Bailey had so much fun running all over. I played hide and go seek with you two and you both just kept saying, "Again, again." You stayed up so late and you rarely stay up late. You slept in Siti's bed and I don't think you went to bed until 10:30! You had a blast though. You and Siti woke up the next morning and she told me that you slept well and that she kissed and hugged you all night. She loves you so much. Siti was so happy because she had her grand kids there for her birthday and because they were having so much fun.


You and Bailey watching "Ponyo" on Siti's bed after dinner. You were jumping, running in and out of the living room and back to the bed to watch the show. You were having a blast.


I want more cake! Aunt Kay cut you another piece of cake and you had not finished your first one!


Siti also got ice cream cones and ice cream as if we needed more sweets...


You gave Uncle Rhoni a big kiss and Uncle Rhoni loves kisses!

You made your own drum set in Siti's room. The lamp shade was your cymbal. Long fire matches were your drum sticks. You can make a drum set out of anything!






Uncle Rhoni has big trees in his backyard. You climbed one, or we actually set you up there and you wanted to stay there. You climb everything! Uncle Rhoni put a zip line from tree to tree. It is very cool. You jumped right on and had a blast.


Siti had a bowl of wasabi peas and you were eating them. Siti could not believe it because they are super spicy. You are not afraid of spicy food!


We took Siti to birthday lunch before we left. You and Bailey were sitting on the back of the booth. Siti got some ice cream and you all helped her blow the candle out, and you both ate the ice cream next to Siti. She loved it!
