Santa Claus at Ryder's Birthday - "I already told you Santa"

We went to Ryder's 1st birthday party today at Brookhollow Country Club. Ryder is Brook's little brother. You and Brooks went to school together at Saint Michael and we are good friend's with Brooks' parents, Clayton and Mandy Main. Santa Claus came and all the kids got to sit in his lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. You went right up to Santa and gave him a hug. AND THEN.... Mr. Logical... Santa asks, "Can you tell me what you want for Christmas?" My Hudson replies, "I already told you." Daddy looked at me, he was laughing so hard. Some of the other parents overheard you and were laughing as well. It was just too much! You are very logical and more often than not, you have a logical reply or answer - at 3.5 years of age!

I love you my baby! You are just sharp sharp sharp. Not a whole lot gets by you. You sat in Santa's lap already this year and told him what you wanted - which was a drum set by the way. We also wrote Santa a list. You knew you had already told him.

My New Fishing Pole 4/17/11

Hudson,

Daddy got you a fishing pole for your birthday. It is your first pole, a junior Zebco with Diego on it. You loved it! Today, we all went to the park and fished. You were so excited. Daddy couldn't find any worms at the pet store, so he bought fish food. He had a bought a little tackle box that went with it and so you put the fish food in it. When we got there, Daddy wanted to show you how to cast, but of course you wanted to do it BY YOURSELF (your motto). We threw fish food in the water and then you would get your pole and try and cast. You somewhat figured it out by yourself. You are a smart one Hudson. This huge swan was eating the fish food plus the bread we brought. You were so precious and so excited. It was special for Daddy to get you your first fishing pole.

Your 3rd Birthday! 4/18/08

Hudson,

Your 3rd birthday was on a Monday, which is a school day. We had your party a week before on the 10th, so you basically got to celebrate all week and also had another little party at school. You were so cute. Miss Elizabeth and Miss Maria made you the neatest birthday crown. You wouldn't wear it, but Miss Elizabeth got you to wear it later. Happy birthday my love! April 18th is my favorite day in the whole world because it was the day you were born. My baby! I love you my love, I can't believe you are 3 - sniff sniff. Mamma
