Dinner with Di in the City

After we saw The Grinch, Daddy took you all home and I met an old friend, Diana, for dinner in the city. It was great to see Di and catch up. She was one of my running mates when I was living single in the city. We had some fun! She was also one of the few people at my wedding in Central Park. We went to this great new place, Eataly on 5th between 23rd and 24th. It's a huge Italian marketplace with like 4-5 Italian restaurants. It's like a little slice of Italy, which I love because mama LOVES all things Italian. Che perfetto!

The Grinch at Madison Square Garden

Boys,
We took you all to see Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical at Madison Square Garden Theater. When it first started, Hudson was wide eyed, in awe of the grinch. Couldn't take his eyes off the stage. He might have been almost a little scared of the grinch- covered all covered in long green hair. Hudson, you got mad at me for saying "ha" to the grinch during one part of the play. You said, "Mamma, he turns nice! His heart gets bigger!" I mean you were really mad. You don't like to think people are mean or don't have a fair chance, especially when you know they are nice. Basically, you just don't like it when other people are mean to other people. You really have a beautiful heart, Hudson. My sweet boy. John Henry, you sat trough the whole play, wide eyed. Never cried. You just sat there looking at everything- taking it all in. You are such a good good baby!!
