Happy First Birthday John Henry!

It's a Colorado birthday for our baby! Oh sweet, precious John Henry, I can't believe you are already 1.  It's bittersweet.  It seems like the year flew by.  I remember bringing  you home from the hospital.  So tiny.  I use to sit you in your swinging chair in the TV room . You couldn't move and you would sit next to Hudson while he watched TV.  He wanted you as close as he could get you.  I remember when you first started crawling.  You did the one legged shuffle for the entirety of your crawling days.  It was the most precious move. I remember taking you to the beach when you couldn't move and you just slept the whole time.  Hudson has said "I don't want JH to get older.  He's so cute Mamma!  I want him to stay little.  And such is life.  The first year such a sweet but short period.  I can relate to what Hudson said.  You want your babies to grow but you want them to stay your babies and you all will always be my babies...

You are a funny little guy John Henry.

A beautiful birthday because I have my two baby boys!

I love you all.  Mamma is 29 forever, ok?! I will always be young at heart no matter what my age.  I still feel 25 inside. Life is a puzzle. You spend your childhood waiting to be older and you just want to be younger when you are getting older.  What's that all about!?

Enjoy your youth and don't rush to be older!  You have your whole life to be grown up.

Hudson My Baby is 5!

My BABY is 5!  Sniff sniff.  Sob. Sob.  This is a happy occasion, but emotional for Mamma!!   It seems like only yesterday when Daddy and I took you home from the hospital and now you are a big 5 year old.  You are intuitive, intelligent, headstrong, defiant, obstinate, bossy, fun, passionate, sensitive, kind-hearted, sympathetic, keen, athletic, verbal, musical, and honest.  The best way to describe you comes from your teacher, Ms Fernando.  She said,  "It's like talking to a little adult in a kid's body."  Hudson,  you would like to be in a room full of adults as an equal and not being told what to do.  This can be difficult at times for Daddy and me, but you are truly an amazing little boy destined for great things.  You can do whatever you want Hudson if you put your mind to it.  When you love something, you REALLY love it and when you are into something,  you are REALLY into it.  That's called passion and anyone that can live a passionate life will live a full life.  You are a passionate soul and you can't buy that, you were born with it. You are a star my love.

Going To OKC To Siti !!

Daddy went to his annual golf Woo Woo trip in Naples, FL and he sent us to see Siti and Uncle Rhoni. We had the best time. We celebrated your 5th birthday at Siti's.  She got you a yummy cake,  and all those pictures got erased because my phone completely died.  But you can see the Power Rangers sword and gun Siti got you -  you never put it down!  Uncle Rhoni went overboard and got you a ton of toys as well.  We went to the trampoline place and you and Bailey had a blast.  John  Henry jumped too and he was laughing, playing and loving being with you and Bailey.  

Hudson,  Uncle Rhoni took you and Bailey to the amusement park, Frontier City.  You had an absolute blast and I don't think you will ever forget that day.   You and Bailey rode almost every ride and Uncle Rhoni was right there with you.  I mean you rode the big, scary rides!  You all also went to this cowboy gun show and you thought that was way cool.  Uncle Rhoni got you this toy pistol after the show, and you also thought that was way cool.   This is the same amusement park I went to growing up.  What a special day for you!  I was so happy you had such a fun day and made such wonderful memories.

What a wonderful trip to my home, Oklahoma City. We love you Siti, Uncle Rhoni and Bailey!
