Hudson,
So, you woke up this morning, got into bed, laid next to me and counted to 30! So swear! You are not even 4 years old and you are one bright boy! You even said thirteen, which you tend to leave out. I couldn't believe it, 21-22-23-24....I mean you get that you say 20 and go back to 1, 2, 3... Wow! I'm amazed by you every day. Your teacher, Ms. Barlow, has told me that it doesn't matter where you go to school, you will excel academically. My smart baby!
Xoxoxo I love you amore mio! Mamma
I am blogging for you my Hudson. I was writing a journal, but writing was wearing me out. So, I thought I would journal online. It's easier!

An Email from Miss Elizabeth
Hudson,
Miss Elizabeth and I keep in touch through email and we are going to go visit her soon. She was your teacher at Saint Michael and there are many posts about her. You loved her and will talk about her from time to time and I want you to see her. I loved her too. She was so sweet and she loved you so much. She was huggy and lovey dovey - the whole school was. Now, you go to a much more serious school and it is so different from last year. But, you are getting older, so school will get more serious with each year. Your teachers will guide you and help make you who you are - SO, always listen to them and always respect them (and Yes, I will always be one of your teachers and so will Daddy)
I wanted to share an email that Miss Elizabeth wrote:
"Hi Rhonda!
I am soooo excited to hear from you. I miss both you and Hudson and have been thinking about y'all all the time. I am so happy that Hudson is adjusting well and enjoying school…but I knew he would. He is such a great little guy and easily makes friends and melts hearts.
The new year is going well so far with both classes…but I am really missing my crew from last year! One of the best classes I have ever had. And I would LOVE for y'all to visit. Fridays are probably the best days. We occasionally have kids in the mornings on Fridays that are there for meetings…so maybe the afternoons would be better.
And I can't believe he remembers I saw a volcano! I was in Hawaii and we saw a dormant one. He is one of the brightest kids I have ever known with the best memory. Please tell him I miss him like crazy…as I do you. I was so lucky to have him last year and you both are close to my heart. xoxo "

January 3, 2011 Ready for school
This was your first day of school after Christmas break. You were excited to go to school. You told me that you missed Miss Elizabeth. She is your teacher and you love her. When she brings you to the car after school, you are smiling at her and you say, "Bye bye. I love you." You are only 2 years and 8 months old, but you look like a little man! You have always looked like a little man, even when you were 5 months old. You have one awesome head of hair - like your Daddy. I love you my baby, Mamma
