Hudson,
What?!? You are only 4.5 years old. You have been practicing here and there on your first, little bike, and today, Daddy took the training wheels off your big bike and you really got it. You got it! I'm not sure I know any 4.5 year olds riding a bike with no training wheels! Daddy and Mamma are so proud of you. Mostly, you amaze us.
When you want to do something, by God, you will do it, and you will figure it out yourself. Of course, you want to do everything by yourself, and sometimes, it drives me crazy, but you are strong willed and this will be an asset throughout your life!
You really never had a bad fall learning to ride with no training wheels. You know how to brake and fall to where you don't really get hurt. You are very coordinated and athletic. We don't know what that means right now, but you are!
Just always remember now and into the future, you can do anything you put your mind to, especially with the strong and courageous personality that you have. We love you! You're amazing!
Xoxo Mamma & Daddy
I am blogging for you my Hudson. I was writing a journal, but writing was wearing me out. So, I thought I would journal online. It's easier!

Hudson Rides a Bike w/ No Training Wheels!!
Hudson,
What?!? So, it doesn't matter that we are your Mommy and Daddy and
we think you are amazing. You are 4.5 years old. How many 4.5 year old's can ride a bike with no training wheels? How many 4.5 years olds have the will or the courage to grab the bike with no training wheels, hop on it and say, "I want I ride this bike." "Let's go," we say! Daddy got behind you and ran down the driveway with you on the bike and when he let go, you didnt fall. Daddy and I looked at one another like, "Wow." Then, Daddy did it again - he ran behind you, holding the bike, faster and faster, he let go and you kept going. I swear we couldn't believe it!! Oh Hudson, the smile on your face! You were so proud and we were so proud of you- or in awe of you. I was holding John Henry jumping and up and down, saying "That was amazing baby! You did it!" The thing is, it's really so you to decide to do something and just do it and only Daddy and I can really comprehend that. You are such a determined little boy. You remember that when you are older. The kids across the street, Caroline (6) and Jack (10) were in the driveway watching with their mom who was dumbfounded. Her little girl is 6 and can't ride without training wheels. NOT that it's a competition because it isn't, but you are so amazing Hudson! You have always always been advanced for your age and anyone who has ever met you has noticed this.
Use your skills and your intelligence wisely my love and always always always eat your humble pie.
We love you! Our super boy!!!! 4.5 years old!
