John Henry is Walking !!!

Henry, you are such a big boy!  You have been taking steps for weeks, but you finally took off in the Dallas airport on the way to Colorado. Its very apropos for you to walk in the city where you were made.

 You were so proud of yourself!  It was the cutest!  We were so proud of you too!  We all were clapping.  The people around us were getting such a kick out of it because you were so proud and so were we.

One word for you: edible!  I could eat you up.  You have the coolest personality. You are constany laughing - for real.  You wake up smiling.  You are super laid back and go with the flow.  You could play by yourself for hours and not bother anyone.  In fact,  me and Daddy want to cuddle and hold you, and you are already wriggling out of our arms. You want to go explore and get into everything,  and let me tell you-  you get into absolutely everything!!!!  You are constantly grabbing or trying to grab things that you are not suppose to- our cell phones, wires, glass, plugs, and even the fireplace and fireplace tools.  Boy,  you can get away with it because you're so damn cute!   Even Hudson says, "I wish he could stay this size.  He's just so cute."   We all love you to pieces and pieces.  Xoxoxo Mamma

John Henry's 5 Month Appt

Well, you are actually 5.5 months in this picture. You went for your 5 month appt today. You are a big boy weighing in at almost 20 lbs. Wow! You are in the 90th percentile for weight and you are off the charts for height. You got 4 shots today. That part was so sad! But you did not cry long. You are such a good boy. Truly! You just don't cry much. You are so happy! We are so blessed, especially because you are healthy!

John Henry, You Are a Mover!

John Henry,
You DO NOT STOP moving! ... And you never did in my belly either. I mean you have been rolling over for 2 months now. You never just lay on your back. You are trying so hard to crawl. You stick your teaso up and you try, try, try. You are gonna do it soon. I know it! You watch Hudson and you are like "I wanna do what he's doing!" I can see it in your eyes!

John Henry's Miglee 2012

John Henry,

Siti, had a miglee for you. She also had one for Hudson when he was born. A miglee is a Middle Eastern tradition and it is a tea made with cinammon, ginger and aniseed to welcome a baby into the world. Aunt Emily made it and it was delicious! It was special for Siti to have this beautiful welcoming for our baby and her newest grandson!

Henry is 4 Months Old !

Mamma's sweet baby Henry- happy birthday! You are 4 months old today. I can't believe it. Seems like I just came home form the hospital with you. You are an amazing baby. You are so cool and chill. You do not fuss a lot or get upset (only when you are hungry). You are always laughing and smiling - no joke. It's so beautiful. It's like the sun shining down on me when you smile at me- it's heaven. You chill out and play by yourself happily. You watch your brother a lot. You just are an absolute joy. We have been so blessed! You eat a lot and you are a chunker. You sleep well and I think that's because you are happy, content and full. Again, we have been so blessed! Lastly, we even turn the music up so loud - Hudson and I love to jam, but I think you do too. You love it and I'm not kidding- it is loud!

You are such amazing baby! You are always smiling and laughing- for real! You are so calm, so tranquil. You chill out in your swinging seat, or lay on your piano may. You don't fuss.
