John Henry,

Could you be any cuter? You are such a different sleeper than Hudson was as a baby. You sleep through the night and you have been for months, but sometimes you wake up and you just hang out in your crib. I'll go in there and you are sitting up playing with the bumper. Sometimes, we go in there and you are just smiling and kicking your legs. I'm not sure what you are doing?! Maybe you are having a party in your crib? It's really cute actually! I put you to bed tonight at 7 and you were sound asleep. Then, you woke at 8 and just hung out. Daddy went in there and you were finally asleep curled with a blanket. Daddy told me I had to go look at how adorable you were. OH AND YOU ARE!! We think maybe its time we give you a stuffed animal or a blanket you like. Maybe you need a little comfort for all your wake times! You are amazing though. Amazing! You don't like wake up and ball. You are kind of just hanging out for a bit. Sometimes, you will let out a whimper or cry but you can put yourself back to sleep, which is a fantastic gift! You are amazing- You are a calm, peaceful and happy child. We are so blessed! We love you so much!

I just went and checked on you (I check on you and John Henry many times before I go to sleep) and there you were, next to Orange Bear sleeping peacefully. You had put Orange Bear under the covers! Just absolutely precious! It makes me realize that you are still such a sweet and tender baby even though you are going to be 5. 5! I cannot believe it. You will always be my baby.

Henry, you are 2.5 months here and you are already so big!  You nap on Mamma and Daddy's bed every morning.  It's so sweet.  You look so comfy,  like an angel,  laying on our comforter. You are a little chunker and I could just eat you up.  You have no problem eating - you are a healthy, big boy.  You are such a joy - you smile and laugh all the time - no joke.  And maybe all parents say this about their babies,  but I am serious.  It's the way you are.  You are a joy.  Such an easy baby.  It will be interesting and amazing to watch you grow and to see if your content, sweet and laid back personality sticks.  You can sit in your swing or play on your piano toy mat for an hour and be completely content.  I love you sweets, with all my heart!  Mamma

You just ate and you are sleeping peacefully on Mamma's belly. I'm just staring at how beautiful you are and could stare at you all day. You just were living in my belly and now here you are. Wow. A beautiful blessing and miracle. You are 9 days old today. You are such a good baby! You are eating well and sleeping all the time right now. You eat so much Daddy called you hungry Henry. We all love you so much !!!! You have added so much beauty and love to our family. Thank you!

I Can't Keep My Eyes Open, but I 'm NOT Napping

Hudson,

You refuse to nap. You think nap time is for babies. One day, you will find out that this is not the case. So, you fight and fight it, however, it's a common scene to see you fall asleep in the car because you actually do need naps still. So, you will nap in the car, but refuse to nap at home. It's funny. I am not sure why. Maybe you think you are missing out if you nap at home and you never want to miss out on anything. Sometimes when we are pulling up into the driveway, you will say, "Drive around Mamma," so you can nap. Lately, with my pregnancy, you fall asleep and then I pull into the driveway and nap with you! Mamma is very fatigued with this pregnancy. I am chasing you all around and playing with you so there no rest for the weary!
