Hudson and His Oldest Friend, Ella

Today, Anni, Ella ad Karli came to the club with us. They are in Darien, CT visiting Brad's parents so they came to see us! We love and miss them so much and it's always so special to see them. You and Ella have a very special friendship Hudson. You love and care about one another and it's so sweet! She thinks you are hilarious and laughs at everything you do, which you love. She gets you and always has. How is this possible at 4? I'm not sure, but she just gets you. You all met in Dallas and have been friends since you were 4 months old. Today, Ella told you, "Hudson, I am going to marry you." Have you ever heard anything more innocent, precious and sweet? You replied, "Oh no! I'm never getting married!" Too funny. Oh Hudson, how that will change! How that will change my love! You told me, "Mamma, Ella said she loves me." I said, "Well, tell her you love her too," and you said, "I love you too and I have missed you Ella." So beautiful!

Kisses, Mamma

Moving - In Transit - Visit to Shreveport

May 28 & 29 2012

After the move out of our house in Dallas and staying at the Four Seasons for 4 days, we went to Shreveport to see Daddy's family.  You had a great time!  You played and played with Squires and Jackson.  You still think Jackson is the greatest.  Squires threw you really high in the pool and you thought that was awesome.   Aunt Shannon, Squires, Jackson and Jackson's friend, Daniel, took you to the Science museum.  You had such a blast with Squires and his sweet friend, Daniel, who is so nice to you.  You got this yellow bracelet that you would not take off from the museum.  You spent the night at Aunt Shannon's the first night and watched TV with her and got to stay up late.  You loved that.  Then, you spent the night with Big John and SuSu the second night.  They loved being with you and spending quality time with you.  Big John let you get all his knives out.   I walked in and they were all on the floor and you were just staring at them.  You think his collections of guns and knives are beyond cool.  You just have to always be careful with them!  Daddy got Mommy a hotel room and I got to sleep in both nights and get some Mommy time.  This was super great for pregnant Mommy.  We will miss being close to Daddy's family, but they will come visit and we will too.

xoxo

Day 3 of Move at The Four Seasons - Dallas to NY to CT

May 25, 2012

This was day 3 of our move from Dallas.  We stayed at the Four Seasons in Los Colinas.  We had such a fun time and it took our minds off the move.   Melissa, Jack and Cash came and swam with us everyday.  You and Jack had a great time and I loved spending time with Melissa, especially knowing that we would be leaving our good friends.

Jack is above - you all look so much alike.  People ask me and Melissa if you all are twins.  Jack was one of your very first buddies.   You all are 5 weeks apart.

She's Pretty Like You...

July 2, 2011

My Hudson,

You, me and Daddy went to the University Park pool this morning. This is the pool we have been swimming in all summer. It's so much fun! You cannot believe what a good swimmer you are and you just turned three. You have amazing breathe control and you can swim a pretty long way without help. You go under water for at least 10 seconds! I think you are going to me a fish, like me. I am so proud of you!

So, you were eating a hot dog and these two little girls were getting ready to go into the pool. You were looking at them. You pointed at one of them, and said, "I like her Mommy. She is pretty like you." Oh, my sweet boy! You definitely like girls! By the way, when you tell Mommy that I am pretty, it lights up my world, and you tell me a lot. I love it! I will always be your first girl.

I love you handsome, Mamma
