Daddy at Celebrity Fight Night With Muhammad Ali
March 24 & 25, 2012
Daddy does have the coolest job. He just went to Celebrity Fight night honoring Muhammad Ali in Phoenix. Arizona. Ali is one of Mommy's heroes and one of my favorite athletes of all time. Daddy begged me to go, but Mamma didn't, which was probably not real smart. I am 5.5 months preggers and I am just more fatigued during this pregnancy. We are traveling this weekend and I did not feel like traveling two weekends in a row. Plus, I can't drink and I swear I am tired at 5! Oh well, we all make crazy decisions sometimes. I am glad Daddy had fun!
...And Daddy did have a blast and saw lots of famous people, and of course, the one and only, Muhammad Ali. He kept texting me pictures from the event.
Ali stood up for what he believed in and that is what made him the "greatest."
"I am the greatest. I said that even before I knew I was." -Ali
Baby Boy Squires Sonogram
March 23, 2012
Baby Boy Squires 2,
I am 5.5 months pregnant. Today, Daddy and Mommy went to the doctor and Mamma got a check up and a sonogram. Baby Boy Squires 2 is healthy and amazing - thank God! You were moving all around and made a fist. Seeing you on the screen is nothing short of a miracle and made Daddy and Mommy smile, laugh and Mommy teary eyed. It's a miracle from God. There is a baby inside my belly, growing - a miracle! We love you so much Baby Boy. So much!!! We all can't wait to meet you and wish you could be here tomorrow. Hudson asked me if you could come tomorrow, and I said you would be here in 4 months. He said, "4 months!!! How long is that?" He is ready to meet you now. He kisses my belly a lot and sings to you. He will sing, "Baby brother, baby brother, come out of Mamma's belly." It is so precious and so sweet!
I can tell you this pregnancy has been much more tiring for Mamma. Hudson doesn't let me rest much and doesn't like that my energy is zapped. There is not much down time with this pregnancy like there was with Hudson. We are all ready for you to be here. You are so loved and we can't wait to hold you!!
We love you sweet baby boy!! So much!!! xoxoxo

Don't Tell Me What I'm Gonna Be...
March 22, 2012
Hudson,
It's already started and you are not even 4 years old! You are one intelligent, independent, strong-willed hardheaded little boy- you're amazing!
So today, I kept singing this one song and a few other songs- pop/hip/hop songs from the radio. I would some linea and you would continue- you totally know the words- its amazing. You got that from your Mamma :). I said "You're going to be a great musician one day.... If you want to be." You said, "Mamma, don't tell me what I'm going to be. I will choose what I want to be when I grow up." Is this a 3 year old or a teenager speaking to me? Yes, my baby said this! You are a leader and a driver and a winner- that's 100% for sure! You are 3 years old! I swear you have always been a little man- you're beyond your years.
....And Hudson, you are a unique star and you can be anything you want to be- anything. I want you to know that it is absolutely your choice whatever you decide to be and do with your life and Daddy and I will always support and love you in whatever you decide to do with your beautiful life. All we want is to build your foundation- for you to know right from wrong and choose right, for you to be humble and kind and for you to help others.... The rest is up to you...
I love you little man, Mamma

You Can Count to 30 - no joke!
March 20, 2012
Hudson,
So, you woke up this morning, got into bed, laid next to me and counted to 30! So swear! You are not even 4 years old and you are one bright boy! You even said thirteen, which you tend to leave out. I couldn't believe it, 21-22-23-24....I mean you get that you say 20 and go back to 1, 2, 3... Wow! I'm amazed by you every day. Your teacher, Ms. Barlow, has told me that it doesn't matter where you go to school, you will excel academically. My smart baby!
Xoxoxo I love you amore mio! Mamma

Safety Day at Swim Class w/ Mr. Reed
March 21, 2012
Today was safety day at swim class. You thought it was so fun to get in the boat. You wanted to go first at everything, but you didn't want to be tipped over. Mr. Reed taught you all that if you ever see a child in trouble in the water to yell "help" and find an adult. You are doing amazing at swimming by the way and you are not even 4. You swim for over 12 seconds without a breath. You are kicking great and you swim- like swim! By yourself! And you already know freestyle arms. You freestyle sometimes and it's awesome! You get your fish skills from mamma!
P.s. the kids in your swim class are Finnbell, Benson and Reese.
Xoxox my fish, I love you! Mamma

I Love you to Outer Space
March 19, 2012
Hudson, we always talk about how much we love one another. I tell you I love you to the moon and to the outer galaxies. You tell me you love me to China and Africa. Today you said, "Mamma, is outer space farther than China?" I said yes and you said "I love you to outer space then!" It melted my heart. It was the sweetest, cutest thing ever. I low you so much it hurts! To the moon and to the outer galaxies...
