You Have a Sweet Heart Hudson

Hudson,

You are such a sweet hearted boy. I know this for sure and it makes me so truly happy. You are good and you know right from wrong. Nothing would make your Mommy happier than to know that you are a nice person. That's all I really want is for you to be a good person. Intelligence, athleticism, whatever, all secondary. You being sweet, humble and kind - that's number one for me.

We went to a Halloween party today. It was with your very first play group. You all are all about the same age- you are the youngest. You just were so sweet to everyone. There was a baby there and you kissed him twice, but you are always sweet to babies- always. Two Moms told me how sweet you were and called you "Sweet Hudson."

I really think your Montessori school has been so good for you and I am so happy about this. Today, at the Halloween party, a 2-year old kicked you like three times and he was climbing on the furniture. You did not kick him back or get mad, yet you told him that kicking was not OK and that he shouldn't climb on the furniture. My friend, Julia, witnessed it all and said you were so sweet and so good and you never got mad. WOW! A year ago, you would have kicked back and started crying, heck, 6 months ago, you would have. You are such a bog boy!

Daddy and I both commented on how kind and sweet you were today. I am so truly proud. So truly proud. Remember my love - honey attracts bees. Always be kind and humble. It is much easier to be nice than to be mean. If you do not have anything nice to say, don't say anything.
