Today, you watched "The Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island" during quiet time. This was the first time you ventured away from the original movie - "The Land Before Time," which is such a sweet movie. In V, the main characters meet a little T-Rex named Chomper. In one scene Chomper is crying. After your quiet time, you came into my room and you started balling. This was not just a normal cry, this was the cry where you are take deep breaths. I hugged you and said, "Baby, baby, what's wrong?" Through the tears, you said, "Why was Chomper crying Mamma? Why? I don't like that Chomper was crying." You were so upset Hudson. I held you tight and you cried for at least 5 minutes. It broke my heart! I told you that Chomper was going to be OK and that he would see his friends again.
Hudson, this is a testament to what a big heart you have. Your heart is overflowing with love. You have so much sympathy for people and animals who are hurting or crying. You always get upset if a character is not being nice to another character in a book or movie. You are upset if an animal or a human cries in a book or show. You get upset and concerned when you see another baby or kid crying on the playground. We were at the pool last summer and this baby girl was crying. You were concerned and went to give her a hug and a kiss. It was such a real, sweet moment. Oh my sweet baby. You are so beautiful inside and out. Look through others people's eyes and try to understand how they feel.
