Hudson,
You still love dinosaurs and Dino Dan. You are in a roaring phase and you roar really loud. Sometimes, it's just too much and Mommy and Daddy have to simmer you down. I explain to you that you can roar in a lower voice. You keep going. We try to avoid the roaring in restaurants, explaining to you that others are trying to have a calm, peaceful dinner, but sometimes, you just let it out! My dino Hudson! Here are the names of the dinosaurs that you know right now. You are about to turn 3 and you can say the names of these dinosaurs clearly. It's crazy! These are so very difficult to say -- most adults don't go around saying these names, and if they do see them, they have to work out how to say them! You have learned a lot of the names of dinosaurs from "Dino Dan."
1) Of course, the T-Rex, the "King" of all dinos.
2) Dromaeosaurus
3) Compsognathus
4) Spinosaurus
5) Brachiosaurus
6) Triceratops - " A 3-horn Mamma" as you say. You learned that from "The Land Before Time" movie.
7) Stegosaurus
8) Euoplocephalus - This one bloes my mind. You can say it. It's rediculout. I tell you that it is hard to say and that mommy even has a hard time saying it. Hudson, it's crazy! You say, "You-pha-cap- uh-lus."
9) Pterodactylus
And to top it off, you explain to me, "The brachiosaurus and the apatosaurus look alike." They totally do by the way - both long neck dinosaurs. How do you know this? Hudson, I have learned all of this by being your Mamma. You teach me everyday.
p.s. You like to play this crazy game on the trampoline that wears me out. You call it the "Rudy game." Rudy is the mean T-Rex in "Ice Age," the movie. Basically you roar, attack and jump on me! I pretend like I am attacking you with my long dinosaur tail. It's a nice break when Daddy plays the "Rudy game" with you. Mommy plays it with you and it's fun, because I can throw you down and tickle you and kiss you all over, but my baby never wants to stop. Mamma gets tired. You don't understand the concept that Mamma can get tired.
I love you my dino Hudson! Mamma
